Louise Porton

Louise Porton was supposedly a model, according to her dating sites profiles. She seems to have been sex obsessed, and according to family members would often sell herself, having sex in the same room as her children were sleeping. 

2nd January 2018, Porton used her Google account to search for “Why did my 3 year(-old) stop breathing”, and “Why do toddler having a fit stop them breathing”.

Porton took Lexi to hospital after she previously suffered a seizure, while in hospital she went to the hospital toilets, and sent a client saucy topless snaps while her daughter lay in bed receiving treatment.
She also exchanged a series of messages with a hospital security guard she met during Lexi's stay and agreed to meet a photographer to perform sex acts on him.

14th January 2018, Porton messaged a man telling him: "Im just really havin a tuff time with my 3-year old being ill from that deadly flu doctors tellin me she gonna die x".

15th January 2018, 3-year-old Lexi Draper was pronounced dead by paramedics at the family home in Rugby, in the early hours. Porton called an ambulance saying she had found the girl lifeless in her bed after going in to check on her.

30th January 2018, Porton was overheard laughing and joking at a funeral parlour as she arranged Lexi's burial.

1st February 2018, Porton claimed that 17-month-old toddler Scarlet Vaughan fell ill and she set out to take her to hospital, but pulled over at a retail park to call an ambulance. Scarlett was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

Post-mortem examinations, and extensive enquiries with specialist doctors could find no natural cause of death for either child, and it was established that they died as a result of suffocation.
Both children had symptoms consistent with deliberate airway obstruction and Scarlett had signs of neck compression.

A search on Portona' internet searches showed she had researched drowning and stopping breathing using tape.

20th March 2018, Louise Porton is arrested and charged with double murder.

2nd July 2019, trial opens at Birmingham Crown Court in front of Judge Mrs Justice Yip. Louise Porton denied murdering her two children.

Friday 2nd August 2019, at Birmingham Crown court  Jurors heard Porton had accepted over 41 friend requests on a dating app just a day after Lexi died, and was described by prosecutors as being "calm and emotionless" following Scarlett's death.

The judge, Mrs Justice Yip sentenced her to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 32-years. Porton will be eligible for parole in 2051.
