January 2012, 77-year-old Betty Yates was found stabbed to death in
her cottage in Bewdley, Worcestershire. She was found
lying at the bottom of the stairs, she had been stabbed then
beaten with her walking stick.
February 2012, 59-year-old,Vicar John Suddards was stabbed to death
in his vicarage at St Mary's Church in Castle Street,
Thornbury Gloucestershire. Farrow left an open bible and
items of pornography on the body.
examination revealed that the vicar had died from multiple
February 2012, Farrow was arrested in Folkestone, Kent,
after a tip-off from a member of the public,.
22nd February 2012, Farrow is charged with the murders
of Betty Yates and John Suddards, he is also charged with
burglary at a property in Thornbury between 21st December
2011 and 3rd January 2012.
February 2012, Farrow appeared at North Avon
magistrates court charged with double murder, and
2nd November 2012, at Bristol Crown
Court, Farrow pleaded guilty to burglary, and guilt to
murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility. The
defence produced an expert witness who said that Farrow
suffered from a Psychopathic personality disorder,.
The judge said: "I am satisfied that in your
case a whole life sentence is an appropriate sentence in
each of these dreadful, horrific killings. In my judgement,
you acted sadistically"..
This puts Farrow on the home office list of
prisoners who will never be released, see list
