Rajinder Pall was convicted of
the murder of Desraj Sharma aged 47, in January 1985, but he
was acquitted of this murder later in 1985.
Mohan Beri, aged 60, rented a
room from Rajinder Pall in a house that was described as
derelict in Median Road, Hackney, London.
Beri was known to have been
quite a dirty and unhygienic man, Rajinder Pall had
invited him back to his wife's flat in Clive House, Haddo
Street, Greenwich for a drinking session, once there
Rajinder Pall demanded Beri take a bath.
Beri hated taking bathes and said to Rajinder Pall's
daughter 'You can give me a bath the day I die'.
Rajinder Pall then dragged Mohan
Beri into the bathroom and drowned him.
