Saturday 24th July 2006,
Lynn Barwick's naked body was found by a passing cyclist,
leaning up against a tree in a roadside ditch, on the
banks of the Humber river in Hull, she had been strangled.

Akester appeared before Hull magistrates charged with the
murder of Lynn Barwick
He was held in custody, due to appear again on 10th July.
At the trial it emerged
that Akester actually killed Lynn at his home in Estcourt
Street in Hull, he moved the body using a van stolen from
his work.
